Louise Heasman – Business & Marketing Strategist – A Biography
If there is one motif that defines Louise Heasman’s philosophy of success is that there is genius in clarity. Uncannily skilled at identifying niches, market gaps and unearthing business potential for others, Louise is the human face of business and marketing strategising.
Her drivers are the need to inspire, motivate and enable business owners reach their professional pinnacle so that they maximise profit but still have a life. Imagine that. Pure genius.
With a proven track record in business Louise originally started out in sales and marketing at Barclays; picking up several awards and receiving recognition for her outstanding performance during her nine years. Then moving to Business Network International (BNI) as Director of London and Birmingham, she successfully helped to set up and support over 40 networking groups within five years.
Louise then set up a highly successful aromatherapy practice in Harley Street, Greater London and in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire and it was here she realised the importance of creating a niche in order to gain a specific market and to attract effortless marketing. It was at this point she also realised the importance of work/life balance in the sustainability of a business person’s success.
Running the practice alongside her BNI work, she found that the two businesses dovetailed perfectly. With the insight long ago that “women do business differently” the business guru was instrumental in creating Women in Business Network and The Athena Network – two highly successful international franchise set ups.
Upfront, gutsy but undeniably feminine it is this steeliness mixed with a generous measure of bubbliness that makes Louise Heasman such an iconic figurehead for people who want a life as well as a successful enterprise.
She prides herself on being a busy mum who insists on making the school run yet her entrepreneurial verve and dash remain as smooth and undiminished as any city slicker.
She is inspirational, ambitious and understands the dilemmas of working in rather than on your business.
“I’m a seasoned trendspotter and after working with literally hundreds of people in business in my 10 years as a business networking strategist I could see the next developmental step that those at a ‘tipping point’, need to turn their businesses into even greater and more successful enterprise – working less hours whilst earning more money. This is my next venture,” she beams.
Working to the principle that most business owners are often both cash and time poor she has created a business model, which is designed to maximise business potential that boost profits whilst enabling people to reclaim their lives too.
With guaranteed profits and a reduced working week, who wouldn’t buy into her vision?
Louise is always present at her children’s sports day. With her accumulation of years of business and marketing expertise, you can expect her to be present too.
Alternatively, of course, more time on the golf course, in the beauty salon, shopping in Paris, playing the stock market….
Louise is married and lives in Rickmansworth with husband Andrew and daughters, Georgie (6 years old) and Heidi (4 years old).
